If you log in to a client site as any other user with a regular account.. say a client's account that you frequently need to log in as....  there is a button on the CP Staff Toolbar  "Link Current User". That will let you connect that user's account to your CP Staff account, and you'll be able to become that user on that site with a click. Use that sparingly, I think. For most purposes, you'll just use the built-in Admin, Member, Non-Member, and Guest logins. Note that you can't Link a user to your staff account unless you can log in as them... you need their password.
